Grant management is the other half of the product: in Search & analyse you decide what to go for, and here you keep track of what you've already decided to go for. It's a board with one column per stage – Preparing, Submitted, Awaiting decision, Awarded and Rejected – and one card per grant, dragged from one column to the next as it moves along.
How you start one
From the record of a call for applications (convocatoria), with the button to manage it. It only asks two things: what your organisation calls the project and which financial year you're putting it under. Pressing it twice doesn't create two cards: if you were already managing that call in that year, it takes you to the one you had.
You can also register one by hand from the board itself and type in the name of the call. Half of real grant work is calls that show up in no search at all – a small town council, a foundation's prize – and the board has to count those too.
Creating one does two more things: it opens its folder in the [Library](/documentacion/biblioteca) and, if we've already read that call's *bases reguladoras* – the binding rules – the documents they require are copied into its tasks.
What each record holds
- The amounts: what you asked for, what was awarded and the percentage your organisation has to put in out of its own pocket.
- The dates: submission, expected decision, decision and reporting deadline.
- The score you were given and that year's cut-off score, once it's published: it's the only consolation for a rejection, knowing by how much you missed it.
- The case file number, who signs, who runs it internally, the partner organisation and the link to your shared folder.

The financial year isn't decoration: it's what separates this year's from last year's, which are two different cards even though it's the same call. A call that closes in January usually belongs to the following year.
