You do it from My organisation, at the bottom of the page. It asks for your password, because it cannot be undone and because a session left open on a borrowed computer should not be able to delete a whole organisation.
How to ask for it
If you are on your own in the organisation, the whole organisation is deleted with everything inside it: what you follow, the grants, the tasks, the Library and the documents. If there are several of you, the organisation stays – its work belongs to the team – and only your account disappears. If you also administer the organisation and there are other people in it, another administrator has to be named first. You can also ask from Contact, choosing “My data or my account”: it is free and we reply within one month.
What is deleted
The account and the organisation's profile, and with them the open sessions, the uploaded documents and everything that hung off the account.
What is kept
The invoices and the accounting entries: six years from the last entry, as the Código de Comercio (the Spanish commercial code) requires, and four years for tax purposes. We cannot shorten that period even if you ask us to, because it is not up to us.
Cancelling the plan does not delete the account: it leaves it on the free plan with everything inside. If what you want is to stop paying, see changing plan or cancelling.
The detail of what is kept and for how long is in the privacy policy and summarised in what data we keep.
