Home is the dashboard's front page and it answers one question: what needs looking at today. Four figures at the top; three lists below. Each figure is a link to the screen that produces it, because a number that leads nowhere makes you rebuild by hand the filter that generated it.
- Date already passed: overdue tasks and deadlines. It takes you to Tasks and turns red when it isn't zero.
- Yours closing this week: of what you have saved, whatever closes within seven days. It is the only thing you can lose. It takes you to Saved.
- Grants under way: everything that isn't rejected, including the awarded ones – an awarded grant is where the reporting starts. It takes you to Grant management.
- Open ones that fit you: calls with an open window that fit your profile. It takes you to Search & analyse with that filter already applied.
There is no counter for the whole catalogue, and that is deliberate: only the figure that changes what someone does today gets in. How many calls exist is a nice number with no consequences; one closing this week gets you out of your chair.
The three lists
What's due comes first, on the left: tasks and deadlines from all your grants mixed together and sorted by when they fall due, not by where they come from. They have no tick box – here you look, you don't tick – and that is what Tasks is for, which is where the link below takes you.
On the right, What you follow – the calls you have saved, in closing order – and New ones that fit – open calls that fit you and that you haven't saved yet. If you haven't set your fields of work yet, the second one invites you to complete your profile instead of showing an empty list: with no profile there is nothing to compare against.
Between the figures and the lists, the organisation profile bar appears while there is still something to fill in. When it reaches 100% it disappears on its own.
